Snow Drop (Traditional, U.S.)

1 rating

This is a super fun tune that has become a standard among clawhammer banjo players. Banjo player Kirk McGee of The McGee Brothers recorded it in the 1930’s. I recorded it with my son on Otter Creek (2011) and you can catch Brad playing it on youtube. It is ALL about the groove and rhythm in this one. Do not underestimate it! Listen carefully to the accent shifts. So much fun to play!!
