I was inspired to create this painting after reading the book Circe by Madeline Miller. I have a love of Greek myth and Miller really brought the character to life.

I narrate over a time-lapse of this painting from start to finish and talk about creating the comp, the materials, and brushes I use as well as insights into my process and mindset when making certain decisions in the painting process.
