Still tormented by the past's uncomfortable memories, decades after surviving the harsh winter at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining (1980), it's only natural that a now-sad Dan Torrance has grown up into an alcoholic and a drifter. However, after managing for years to suppress his rare gift, Dan decides to put "The Shining" to good use as the local hospice's benevolent "Doctor Sleep"; and before he knows it, he makes contact with Abra Stone: a young girl with far more superior shining abilities. But, their strong telepathic bond attracts the attention of the semi-eternal psychic vampire, Rose the Hat, and her marauding gang of followers known as "The True Knot", who prey on the innocent, and feed off the effervescent essence of pain. Now, once more, the restless and famished spirits of Colorado's snow-capped purgatory in the mountains invite Dan over for one last winter. Does Danny dare to return to Room 237?

Yo, I was pretty proud of myself for spotting that Danny was reading the same issue of Playgirl magazine that Jack did in The Shining. Watch full tohtori uniform. I watched it and let me tell you, 10/10 movie. my new favorite horror film! it talks a whole new aproch spoiler warning so heres a summery for those who arent gonna watch it, there are these group of people (the girl in the top-hat is the leader) and they basically eat shinning, they kill people with the shinning and when a shiner is killed there shine turns to a mist and those people breath it in, so the little black girl has crazy shinning, i mean like reeeeeally powerful shinning. the top-hat lady wants to smell her shinning considering there are very few with shinning left. they end up doing a plan that works but doesnt and they end up having a final fight in the hotel. over the years danny put his monsters in little mental boxes and for the final fight he basically opens all the boxes sending all the monsters from the hotel at top hat girl.(the one hes having the final fight with) this is a kinda trash summary i do recommend watching watching the real movie back and back with the original. i feel the only reason the movie didnt get enough attention was because they did a bad job advertising so please watch it.

I feel a cable network should do each novel as a series. Covering the books as is. Movies are way too short, they need short cuts and much of the details are lost that the books unfold wondrously.

I love how The Shining coordinates with Doctor Sleep! Two completely different plots, but it connects back with the protagonist! Very well done.
Its so cool how she suddenly has Dans eye color while he is talking through her. This is one of my favorite scenes from Doctor Sleep, it stayed with me after it was finished. This is such a beautiful scene. Her floating around and looking at the world. The heartbeat and hearing her breathe. It gave me goosebumps! I saw it with my uncle and he absolutely loved this film. You're just a fucking child. This part cracked me up, because she always thinks she has the upper hand. She has no idea how strong Abra is.
Watch full tohtori union. The shining is one of my favorite movies ever made top 5 RIP STANLEY AND ALL THE OTHERS WHO HAVE PASSED 🙏🙏🙏. I legitimately didnt care for this film a great deal but this sequence was truly a stand out moment in the flick.
