BOULDER STRONG is an intensive 12 Week Training Plan written specifically for the advanced boulderer who is looking to efficiently make the most out of their gym time. Based on the High/Low system of training, this plan requires some restraint from the climber to be most effective. Dedicated boulderers who are already climbing at the V5-V8 level, and are looking to break into the next grade will benefit most from this plan.
The Plan consists of 2 phases to improve your strength and power, as well as including a Low Intensity Recovery day that is essential for general stamina and basic technique practice. Your download also includes log sheets to help you track your training.
You will need access to bouldering, a fingerboard, a campus board, and some sort of weights, dumbbells, or kettlebells. Gymnastic rings, suspension trainers, and a system board are also helpful, but not necessary.
