RebelNat Toolset: Simple Rigging GUI for Maya

The RebelNat Toolset is a simple GUI equipped with cute little bunnies I created long ago during my Computer Animation studies. Now I want to share it with those who it might help!

There are three tabs: Modeling, Controls, and Rigging.

Basic modeling tools like toggling on/off Normals and softening/hardening edges, useful Rigging tools like Constraints and Constraint Offset checkboxes, cleanup functions (which are also significant for modeling!), attribute creation, and control icon creation.

The script is Python and is meant to be run primarily in Maya. It was created for Maya 2012, however, it works in any version (currently tested and used in 2019). Directions on how to install are within the script.

"How to Run:

This script runs on Autodesk Maya 2012. Copy the import reload and gui function at

the beginning of this script and paste into Maya's script editor."

Rabbit icons created by Aleksandr Obuhov.

Fun Facts: The color scheme was inspired by Red Hot Chili Peppers' I'm With You Album cover.

Why name it RebelNat? Well, did you know I once led a Rebellion against Di Revello to save the town of Medici? In Just Cause 3 that is..

I want this!

You'll get the Python script stored in a "scripts" folder, the rabbit icons in an "icons" folder, and a shelf icon that you can load on your custom Maya shelf, and several screenshots for how the GUI should look if it's set up properly. Happy 3D creating!
