Good morning yogis, ready to do some yin yoga with me? My cat Cleo joins us for this practice and does some pretty cute flips at the 13:19 and 21:13 mark :) Whether you spend your day sitting down or standing up, stretching before the day begins is a wonderful way to prevent low back pain and tight hips. Plus, it puts you in a great mindset and helps you set an intention for the day ahead.
In this short 30 minute yin yoga class, we will try to open up the body as much as we can, getting into the hips, chest, hamstrings and low back. Instead of finishing in savasana, I like to end morning practices in a short meditation to make sure I don't fall back asleep.
