A selection of 2000 images of street art from Tokyo (Shinjuku and Shibuya) for you to use in any way you like and without crediting me (although I'd love for you to let me know when and where you use them). These images were taken in winter 2009 as part of a survey of street art in selected areas of Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinjuku (Kabukicho, Hyakunincho)) collected as part of an investigation into the relationship of creative uses of public space and spatial configuration. The images are selected from the shots HERE, and are used in the Tokyo Street Art Colouring-In book HERE.Think of these images like you would a dusty box of records picked up from your grandma's basement.... Cut them up and collage them like a cache of eclectic trash magazines sprinkled through with hidden pornos that you bought in a bundle from a yard sale.... Sample them like you would low-end keyboards, peculiar instruments and hissing tape recordings of antique xylophones!>>>> Along with your financial support, you’ll provide some much needed confidence and motivation….. The money will go towards paying our (4 humans - 2 older, 2 much younger) rent, food, and life expenses. This will mean that we can continue researching, making, and sharing stuff without doing something stupid (for everyone involved) to pay our way.
