This device allows you to control 4 different monophonic synths with 4 voice polyphony, or 4 different 4 voice synths with 16 voice polyphony, from a single track.
Send this device polyphonic midi and it will split it up the voices into 4 different channels. It lets the first channel through and sends the next three to different midi buses. These buses can be received by Ableton's Max Midi Receiver which comes in the Max 7 Pitch and Time Machines Pack.
Right now it only has 2 settings, Mono and Quad mode. In Mono mode it takes 4 note polyphony and splits it into 4 mono midi tracks, in Quad mode it takes 16 note polyphony and splits it into 4 groups with 4 voices each.
