Veganism – a Talking Points Lesson Plan for English Reading & Speaking

This is part of the Talking Points lesson series.

This could be a highly contentious subject to deal with in class.

Some people feel very strongly about the vegan culture – while others dismiss it as nonsense.

In this lesson plan, the material plays devil’s advocate to encourage a lot of debate and discussion.

Great for introducing veganism to your students – and great to use in any English, ESL or IELTS class.

The lesson comes complete with:

• a 500-word article

• a table of essential vocabulary

• a big list of questions for discussion

Start the class with the three opening questions and then do the reading. Then you can go through all the vocabulary – or set it as homework for the students to do later.

Then there is a big list of questions that are designed to get your students talking.

It comes in easy to use PDF format, ideal for printing for your needs. Use it again and again for your English/ESL classes.
