VideoMechanic for Mac allows you to easily convert your videos to ProRes for editing or H.264 and H.265/HEVC for sharing. VideoMechanic does not require you to fiddle with complex settings: just drop your files onto the app, choose a preset, and convert! VideoMechanic takes advantage of the 64bit architecture of your Mac, making it much faster than Apple's own Compressor.
With VideoMechanic you can:
* quickly and easily convert most video formats to ProRes (for editing) or H.264/H.265 (for sharing)
* convert videos for uploading to YouTube or Vimeo using the built-in social media presets
* resize videos (downscale and upscale)
* batch-convert clips
* easily create your own custom conversion settings
Full H.265/HEVC support
VideoMechanic is the first transcoding app to fully support encoding and decoding of H.256/HEVC video files. H.265 is a much more efficient codec than H.264 and will be the new video standard on Mac and iOS starting with the release of OSX High Sierra. VideoMechanic can also easily convert H.265 from cameras like the Samsung NX1 and Phantom 4 to formats like ProRes or H.264
