When working via telemedicine during COVID, it is best to first watch the demonstration of the meausrements being taken in person, that is in the PT Measurements Video. The Covid Series of videos then provides help for when working via telemedicine.

The Measurment Chart Video provides an overview of how limitations in mechanics impact the spine. There are 2 examples to demonstrate how each person is unique, which often what is missed. The chart itself is a good visual tool to see the impact of limited range of motion on the body and on daily activities.

The PT Measurements Video demonstrates the recommended measurementst and discuss the impact of those limitations, the measurements are divided into separate videos

The Covid Series of Video provide practical information to help therapists use this approach when working via telemedicine. The videos include specific information about how to figure out the limitations in range of motion that could be causing the pain when:

back pain increases when straight or staning

back pain increases when bending/sitting,

back pain increases when sitting and standing, however the pain when sitting is different then the pain when standing,

back pain increases when sitting and standing and the pain is the same, but worse when standing,

back pain increases when sitting and standing and the pain is the same, but worse when sitting.

There are 2 videos that were created for essential workers in 2020. They demonstrate specific exercises recommended to help when workers were in the prolonged positions, one video for sitting and the other video is for standing. As these videos demonstrate the technique for specific exercises they can be used to educate patients on the position and technique of some of the most important exercises. For people in pain these exercises should always be tailored to the patient by a physiotherapist.

The PT Course: This introduces the System Limitations Approach to Pain. The video was taken during a 3 day course for physical therapists / physiotherapists. The video was edited down to a few hours, (there are some abrupt edits.) The course was separated into 19 shorter videos to facilitate the ability to repeat certain secions.

It begins with taking the history and ends with a specific list of the exercises for certain issues. The exercises can be selected from that list for each individual's issues. The exercises are listed in the order that they are initiated in most cases. As the effort is to improve the persons mechanics it is important to have the program set up by a licensed physical therapist or physiotherapist.

The exercises are illustrated in chapter 7 of Rescue Your Back. How to best build an exercise program is outlined in chapter 6 of Rescue Your Back.
