Analogue Video Effects for Final Cut Pro X

In this pack, there are two types of video effects for Final Cut Pro X. One simulates a video capture from analogue television, while the other simulates a VHS. Other than placeholder graphics, everything is done entirely in Apple Motion, no third-party plugins required.

However, since I'm new to Motion, there are 4 different versions of the same effect - NTSC and PAL, both standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:9. I wish it could have been a one-size-fits-all effect.

For the VHS effect, you can find some free stock footage of VHS static to add to the effect already applied to make it more realistic.

The preview images are all from Pexels, a free stock footage library.

Also a bonus effect is a 16:9 to 14:9 converter video effect. Just make sure to correct aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 after using this effect.
