Wayfinder is an innovative, engaging, and empowering curriculum inspired by The One Week Job Project - an extraordinary initiative of self discovery in which individuals around the world are exploring their passions through trying out different careers, one week at a time.
The curriculum is designed with a focus on the development of self-knowledge, examining the questions, "Who am I?" "What do I want?" and "What is the first step?”
Wayfinder was designed by Sean Aiken in collaboration with educators, Dr. Michelle Jones, Lindsay Goodridge and Kristy Baker, and is a part of a larger collaborative project called The Wayfinding Initiative.

The Wayfinding Initiative is a collection of projects designed to re-imagine higher education. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are a team of educators, filmmakers, and dreamers who have come together under a common interest in finding better alternatives to the traditional educational system. To this end, we are creating a documentary film, a progressive self-directed curriculum, and building an on the ground alternative learning environment in Portland, Oregon (a hand crafted pre-college alternative).
