Long Distance Call Lure - 4 oz

Want to try a long distance call lure with a waterproof, freezeproof base that won't crust over?  I developed this LDC lure for use on my Maine marten and fisher trapline, and share all of the ingredients with you.  

NLGI 2 lithium grease base, pure quill skunk essence, beaver castoreum, tonquin musk, muscaro musk, civet musk, ambrette musk and anise oil make up this LDC lure.  It contains a strong, skunky odor with musky undertones to enhance curiosity and attraction to predators.  When marten and fisher trapping, I apply a gob of lure to a tree limb several feet above my set.  In extreme cold conditions, lure may also be placed with the bait, but its primary utility is in attracting the animal to the set, at which point your bait does the work of getting the critter caught.
