Fantasy Writing Beginner's Course

Do you dream of writing a world of magic?

I sure do. Last September, I published my first fantasy short story on Amazon. It was a thrilling experience. I even got a 5-star review. But do you know what I realized after publishing that story? That no matter how good my writing can be, I still need to be a good marketer or an expert in Amazon keywords to attract more buyers.

Is that something you struggle with as well? Am I not alone in trying to break through the veil of anonymity?

Why not share what I know?

I realized that even though I needed all of those skills, my writing online during the past three years has put me in a position to help other writers grow and share their stories with the world. I wrote near five million words on the internet in the past three years alone.

A few short weeks ago, when I tried to sell a writing course with things that I know and copywriting that I bought, I received zero sales.

What was I doing wrong? Thinking about this, I realized that I wasn't really trying to help people. I tried to make a profit. And oh, boy, did the copywriting piece for that course felt salesy.

I dropped it. If I want to make a profit, there are many ideas, only one YouTube search away. My content contains a part of my soul, and selling out like this is not part of what I want to do with my words. I'm not an expert. I'm just a little experienced and have some insight to offer about writing. Making this course free means, we can learn together. In the future, I will sell what my community will want. For now, I prefer to focus on giving them what they need.

Course Structure

The course is comprised of 10 emails. Each email includes a lesson and exercise. There are 48 hours between each email to allow you to complete the exercises and share them with fellow students. Speaking of fellow students...

I created a Facebook group for this course. You can share your writing there, get feedback from other students and me, and get answers to your most pressing questions. We will also have Zoom calls to answer questions in bulk or on my YouTube channel. (You can also share questions about content creation in general)
