Updated 2: Sword space switch added for unparenting the sword control from the hand.

The rig (advanced skeleton) should work fine in the latest Maya versions.
I recommend to install the plugin, so you can fully enjoy the rig including the picker, IK/FK match, and many other useful tools.

Top Spread for toes is located in either left or right-hand controls in the attribute in Channel Box.
In main control, there are many visibility options, like tongue and scale controls.
Also different addons visibility like cloth, props for customizing your own reptilian.
Quick sets access in outliner for an easier selection of long controls,
like tail, tongue and also the many scales on the back and tail.
