Xolotl Kitbasher for Maya Version 2
This is the new version of the original hedgehog connect now called Xolotl Kitbasher
This plugin allows you to have an organized databse of kitbash pieces and add them in real time to your maya scene without loading any unused geometry, improving performance and scene management.
-Smart scene management, only add to your maya project the geometry you are actually using
-Kitbash meshes can have UV's to speed up the texturing workflow
-Dynamic positioning based on face selection
-Full file browser naivgation functionality to access your kitbash packages
-Create folders to organize your meshes
-Create your own Kitbash meshes with one click
-Automatic and customizable thumbnails
-Automatically stitch meshes to another objects, add them as floaters or insert them at the origin (flexible for any workflow scenario)
-Flip functionality to handle chirality, for the scenarios in which rotation is not enough( hands, feet, etc.)
-Compatible with mac, windows, linux
It works with Maya LT 2017+ & Maya 2017+
If you are thinking about getting this plugin illegally way please consider this first:
1) I'm a single developer so piracy really impacts me directly and that hurts the possibility to afford buying the software licenses I need to keep the plugin updated, also it reduces my ability to add new features.
