Extract your actionable design principles

Introduction Stellar Foundation Workshop 3

Congratulations! You arrived at workshop three; Extract your (actionable) design principles. I hope you enjoyed the human diversity, available knowledge, energy, and output from workshop two; Define your Conversational Assistant. Before we start co-creating again, your facilitator must prepare, consolidate, and polish our efforts.

By using a co-creation, we enriched our gathered data by using different perspectives. In this workshop, we will use our Consolidation spreadsheet and other online tools to synthesize our knowledge into a compounded One Source of Truth.

Be prepared to defend your ground and have a lot of fun in creating clarity and vision for your Conversational Assistant.

After this workshop, the facilitator will use your one source of truth to forge your vision statements and actionable design principles, the seeds for your conversations in the digital space.

Welcome aboard, you are tiptoeing into a new era of software development as Humanware will unleash our greatest human potential.

Why would you define design principles?

  • They define the attitude of your Brand / Conversational Assistant in the digital space.
  • They represent what is essential to your Conversational Brand.
  • They are evocative and inspiring vision statements for our team.
  • They are scalable design guidance for your teams.
  • They allow us to speak the same (design) language during discussions and design critiques.
  • They align terminology.
  • Co-created Design Principles align stakeholders.
  • They level up the design quality of our teams.
  • They make your teams creative within the box.

The intent for this workshop

The world needs new thinking and new possibilities. Perhaps it sounds surprising, but I become more creative when I think inside the box.

Stellar UX focuses on WHAT we are building in the digital space with WHOM and for WHOM. By including outliers, bold thinkers, and lead-consumers, we validate what you are about to create before we create it.

Design principles do just that; they are broad enough to be creative and restrictive enough to unleash real creativity in digital conversation design.

This workshop teaches you how to use activity pairs and consolidate and synthesize our gathered data into an Assistant Character Canvas. We will co-decide which data we take on-board and which information we will leave behind. We intend to create one source of truth from which we can extract the Design principles for our Conversational Assistant.

Why do you want to take this workshop?

Value Drivers: De-clutter my life, Create together, Collective Genius, Share knowledge and resources, Be part of a circular process.

I believe that governments will make blockchain mandatory for financial and mission-critical processes in the future, so we better learn to work with principles before this becomes a reality. In our future, code will inevitably become law; this solidifies that we need to learn to design with principles.

It is becoming increasingly crucial for our organization to operate with intent, purpose, and meaning. Designing with purpose through your public design principles will enable you to do just that. It will take courage, as truth, transparency, and honesty seem to on the risks column, but principles define the soul for Conversational Brands.

The drive to extend your brand into the digital space using natural language, data visualization, and interactive conversation design will transform you into a powerhouse with authenticity and character.

After this workshop, your digital production team can choose the moral high ground, design with principles, and organize your companies knowledge domain into value by composing digital conversations for your employees, partners, and customers. You will soon learn that choosing to build Humanware -using conversational interaction design and educating your community- is the best choice you ever made.

How to justify buying this workshop?

Meanings: Duty, Creation, Truth, Validation, Oneness, Harmony, Wonder.

Co-creation starts with a sense of duty that enables us to find our truth, validating our findings because everyone we needed was in the room, and we had a clear design challenge.

The design principles for our Conversational Assistants find their origin in your one source of truth. They are born from a mindful pre-selection of diverse stakeholders, which enabled us to define our product vision. Clarity, focus, and consistency are things every project can use.

If we want to unleash our full human potential, our assistant assistants are probably a blessing in disguise. We can all use an assistant to connect in meaningful ways or to manage our digital clutter.

Stellar UX is the meaningful conversation design toolkit for tomorrow's Internet of Values. Design principles are the prerequisite to partake in the future we all want.

Good luck! You know how to find me if you need support.
