After many requests for a tutorial going over the process of my "Dawn of the Darkness" image, I decided to put one together and launch it as a stand-alone product here on my website. In this tutorial, I will go over the entire editing process that I did on my lunar eclipse composite. I'll explain and show you every step that I took while editing this photo, right from editing the foreground image, to editing the telephoto shot of the moon, to blending the exposures in Photoshop.
I cover a lot of techniques in this tutorial and it truly is a packed 40 minutes of interesting information that will really help you to improve your post-processing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Whether you're a complete beginner to post-processing or a seasoned pro, I'm confident I can show you some new things with this video.
I also included all 3 images that I'll be using for this edit, so feel free to import those to your versions of Lightroom and Photoshop and follow along with me as you watch the video. Just a note though, please do not share these images to social media. These are my own photographs that I maintain full rights to. I am only sharing these with you as personal use so that you can learn in the best way possible.
I hope to see you in the tutorial!
