Luiz Brazil also participated in the composition of soundtracks for several films of the resumption of Brazilian cinema as Quatrilho, Central Brazil, and Twin ôFather Ó.
He participated in several tours with Riuychi Sakamoto. With it, he recorded four CDs on the work of Tom Jobim in the United States, Japan and Brazil. That season, the albums “Casa” and A Day In New York who won the 2004 Tim as best CD of Brazilian music.
On Rede Globo, Luiz Brasil was musical director of special Trapalhões of 25 years. Attended the event Carte Blanche to Caetano in Paris, with Lenine and Augusto de Campos. Produced new arrangements for new CD 2010 to singer Simone. Produced and arranged in Portugal and Brazil CD “The Coréon Experiment”, the Angolan singer Coréon Du.
Recorded in 2006 by Maianga a CD in Duo with Jussara Silveira called "Nobreza”," which received much praise from critics.
He recorded his first instrumental CD "Brasileru" in 2005, with shares of wonderful musicians of the first team of our music, and the special Ryuichi Sakamoto, with whom he shared the stage many times around the world.
