Ms. Frizzle Inspired Product Wear. Can you imagine sitting in class looking at what your teacher is wearing and being able to guess what the topic you'll be learning about? Ms. Frizzle was the perfect example of this. Her dress always matched the content matter. I was inspired by her to start doing this with my math class. I’m not as flamboyant as Ms. Frizzle but I figured a puzzle on my shirt might facilitate interesting math talks/discussions with my students (and maybe the girl at the bus stop). Oh boy was I right. It was so fun. My student would look forward to the next shirt (about one new shirt a month). Like Ms. Frizzle I’d never bring it up or even talk about it until they did. I’d never tell the answer, but the discussion that followed when they brought it up was always fun. Sometimes I’d give a prize to who guessed the answer right/first.
