One of the most amazing adventures that i have ever had is owning a business . And to my Readers and Listener this has been a blessing in so many ways .  My Name  Roosevelt Davis , Artist , Author , Businessman , Motivation Speaker . Marketer  , Networking Professional , Salesperson  and Radio Host , Podcaster  Here are some of my adventure . I have been in  business since the young  age of 7  . I sold cookie  and candy to the  kids with my lunch money allowance . after the age of 7 -10  I started a selling bottles and had a very successful business that until the adults realize what i was doing with my bottle company more about this later   Each day my mother gave  me and my younger brother a quarter to buy and milkshake and a oatmeal cookie .Since we walk to school we both pass by  the neighbor hood store towards school  were there was  kids  using their lunch allowance to buy  penny cookie and candy .  As a young kid i  notice opportunity . Can you believe i seen opportunity as a youth . But i did each day i took my allowance that my parents gave me and invest my money into penny candy and cookies  for a return on my quarter .   My insight as a kid was at the right time of life . This happen when kids was beginning busing for one part of the district  local schools to another district . This happen with  (Segregation ) Whites kids was coming to majority African schools . And we were going to majority Caucasian Schools . I seen a better opportunity for my enterprise . The kids their had more resource for my penny cookies and candy business and they were willing to pay more for the sweets . That my business  could  offer them . And could not  get  this assortment of candy and cookies across the bridge . My  Business Thrive  One after noon my mother notice that i had more money in  my pockets .That she was giving me  each morning . She was gave  me quarter i was returning with $1.25 or more of change each day  And my Mom demand me for  some answer .And she want the answer quick  ( Her thoughts my son is stealing from the school ) Before my mom could  retrieve my profits i had  to give a detail example . How i was making money  And what i did with  her quarters and how i invest my money  into  a business that made money for me . And why i  was not enjoying  shakes and oatmeal cookies like my brother  That was the last time she gave me money for Shakes   In fact since she was my  angel investor she ask for a tiny profit . When I Sold .Lucky me !
