Will Aebi and his alter ego, The UnGnome Author have had a treasure trove of fun. Transformed by costume, he had the exceptional good luck of having big ears and a very long nose to sniff things of interest. Keenly interested in human behavior, he frequently writes about the mysteries of life. An avid traveler he moved about the world, leaving his home in Los Angeles to relocate to the forests of Steep Falls, Maine in 1998, then discovering even better haunts in the woods of Salem South Carolina. He enjoys entertaining and has devoted his life to writing novels for the ladies. Today, at well over 60 years, he enjoys a good game of hide and seek, and prefers a tasty lunch of dried mushrooms and bark.
In a rush of words he has written of a man lost in his memories, an Irish-lass fighting fearful battles with demons, and of curses so damning, people vanished. To each of you he wishes love and happiness and, of course, new stories to read.
Never judge a book by its cover, that's what some wise sage once said. Since before the millennium, this Ungnome speck in the Universe has worked feverishly penning story after story. Sometimes saying, "Perhaps this work will stir the masses." Each time feeling more certain than the last, he would write a story to make people cry, make them angry at the evil dudes, make them feel an exalted lifting of their spirits as the heroine triumphs in all her glory; then delve into psyches long since dead, or find ethics hinging on failure, with humanity's life-force struggling in the balance. Persistently, this old scribe never gives up, never getting lost in the slush pile of life's failures, speaking to you in blind faith that there are readers for his tomes, fans for his fiction, someone who genuinely cares; a devoted reader who might wonder is he just a myth or is he real?
